@Epi I have had about 5-6 individual China stocks over the last few years, these are on average at -25%.
In the same period I have an EM ETF which is +4%.
In the same period I have an EM ETF which is +4%.

@GGHyperX I can understand your conclusion psychologically. But remember that it has often been the wrong one on the stock market in the past: just at the moment when a market is at its lowest, it turns upwards. So losses alone should not be a reason to leave a market.
(I myself am not invested in China and do not intend to be, but for other reasons).
