Bought Alphabet on this downturn. Even if they break the chrome out of google it’s not a big business for them. Thoughts?

Hello, what everyone here is forgetting: with more than 200 investments in companies, Alphabet is more or less an ETF, just like Microsoft.

I always go into Alphabet.
This is a share for my life, alphabet would have to develop in the wrong direction for me to sell!

It goes up and down, all well and good. But the current price is more than okay.
And if they spin off Chrome, who cares. The most intelligent people on the planet work there, they'll sort it out! :) (or other Google holdings)

Chrome plays a very big role, it connects a lot of other tools they have. Like IE was crazy integrated in Windows. Joseph Carlson has a good Video about it.
