I am planning to invest an amount in the mid five-figure range in $TDIV (+0,22 %) to invest.

The yield (distributing) is approx. 4% p.a.

Does the ETF make reliable distributions? Does the ETF's distribution depend solely on the dividend performance of the companies it contains?

what risks, apart from lower price gains than with accumulating ETFs, do you see with this one?

Thank you

The 4% is probably the dividend yield. This is because the total return since inception in 2016 is 10.3% p.a. If I am interpreting the question about dividend distributions correctly, there are no covered call options, i.e. the distributions come from dividends of the stocks held. Great ETF. Get in there.
I've been saving in it for years.
Great performance and the dividends taste good too.

I believe this is one of the safer dividend ETF's. Not focussing on too high yields because of the selection criteria, and not doing things like options that limit upside potential and/or induce additional risks.

This is my absolute best dividend ETF.
I've had it for over a year and will continue to invest in it.

Something in connection with withholding taxes was quite unpleasant at $TDIV because of the Netherlands, right?
...maybe one of the more knowledgeable investors can provide some input on this! 🤷‍♂️
