TotalEnergies ($TTE (+1,13 %) ) and SSE ($SSE (-1,69 %) ) have signed a binding agreement to establish a joint venture called "Source" to create a new major player in the field of charging infrastructure for EVs in the UK and Ireland.

"Source" is planning to roll out five years up to 3000 high-power charging stations (150 kW and more) at 300 "EV hubs" in Great Britain and Ireland to be installed. The aim is to achieve a market share of 20% market share.
