Walmart ($WMT (+0,19 %)) - The American retail chain is pushing into the metaverse with crypto and NFT offerings. CNBC reported that Walmart has filed several patents in the cryptocurrency and NTF space. The patents are largely about making and selling virtual goods, including electronics, toys and sporting goods. Walmart hadn't taken the e-commerce trend very seriously at the time; they don't want to make the same mistake with the Metaverse.
Unilever ($ULVR (-0,05 %)) - Anglo-Dutch conglomerate Unilever wants to focus more on high-growth brands. According to the group, these growth markets are mainly in the areas of health, beauty and hygiene. The main focus is to be on new acquisitions in these areas and to dispose of weakly growing brands.

Cardano ($ADA (-0,82 %)) - The Cardano network is getting its first Metaverse application. Pavia says it is "hot on the heels" of projects like Decentraland and The Sandbox. The project is to be launched under the name Pavia.io on the market. The name of the Metaverse project refers to the birthplace of the mathematician Cardano, namely the small town of Pavia. Cardano was able to increase its share price by approx. 11% as a result of the announcement.
