Apple ($AAPL (-0,72 %)) - Apple is now the first company ever to be worth over 3 trillion US dollars, which is more than the annual economic output of the UK. This means that the Californian technology company has seen its share price rise by around 43,000% in 20 years.
NVIDIA ($NVDA (-0,94 %)) - The major Swiss bank UBS ($UBSG (-1,54 %)) has made NVIDIA its top pick for 2022. According to Benzinga, analyst Timothy Arcuri remains very optimistic about the chip company even after a very strong 2021, which NVIDIA ended with a share price increase of 125%. In his opinion, NVIDIA will benefit from "more stable revenue streams around its GPU and software segments".

Ripple ($XRP (-2,73 %)) - The legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC is to be settled by a court decision in April 2022. In the December 2020 lawsuit, the SEC alleged that Ripple and its executives sold $1.3 billion worth of XRP in an unregistered securities offering. Ripple argued that Ripple is not a security and therefore not subject to securities laws. The ruling could have a major impact on cryptocurrencies in general.
