Naturally, I still have to do with various things which are traded on the stock exchange, but are not companies... these include: $965515 (-3,69 %) (gold), $965310 (-7,68 %) (silver), platinum and the various currency pairs like $965275 (-0,68 %) (EUR/USD) but also all other currencies (AUD, NOK, GBP, JPN, SEK, PLN, CZK, SAR, etc. etc. etc.). Subordinately, we also have to deal with $BTC (-0,74 %) (Bitcoin), although it is rather negligible.

In our other parts of the company we also deal with $UHR (-1,23 %) (SwatchGroup).

What strikes me personally when I look at my professional environment:

There are dozens of companies in this sector, which are not traded on the stock exchange. Among them are some refineries (partly huge company constructs), service providers and luxury goods manufacturers. Also in the area of analysis technology (physical), equipment and software, there are some well-known manufacturers who have so far shied away from the stock exchange or are family-run.

In my private environment I have to do of course like each of you with various products and brands. A separate listing should be interesting for the fewest...

But the most extraordinary might be $RI (-2,35 %) (Pernod Ricard), which is not least due to one of my hobbies: ABSOLUT VODKA bottles in the various designs and Limiteditions collect.

G20 - Global minimum tax to come in 2023. In this, every company that exceeds an annual turnover of 750,000 euros is to pay 15% tax on its profits. The large digital corporations must have a turnover of at least 20 billion euros and generate a pre-tax profit margin of at least 10% to also be affected by the global sales tax. Amazon ($AMZ (+0,57 %)) would then be spared its 5% margin, while Apple ($APC (+0,14 %)) would be asked to pay. Tax havens would also become less attractive, as the tax burden would not fall on the home countries - as it does now - but on the market countries, i.e. where most of the revenue is generated.

Ryanair ($RY4C (-3,33 %)) - The airline has finally been able to report a profit again since the start of the pandemic. In the quarter July to September this year, the profit was 225 million euros. In comparison, Ryanair made a loss of 225.5 million euros in the same quarter last year.

However, a loss of 100 to 200 million euros is expected for the year as a whole, as airline tickets have to be offered at discounts.

Next month's result could be significantly influenced by the fact that many investors are in a celebratory mood and expect a continued strong increase. On the other hand, a throttling of the markets is expected after an announcement by the Fed.
