Daimler ($DAII (+0 %)) - Daimler's Supervisory Board has signed off on the new investment plan for Mercedes-Benz. In the Mercedes-Benz business plan for the years 2022 to 2026, the €60 billion investment plan for passenger cars and vans was approved. It said it will focus on an all-electric future for the passenger car and van business.
Ola Källenius, the Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG said that they will remain true to the goal of technology leadership in the automotive luxury segment as well as premium vans.
DiDi ($DIDI (-0,88 %)) - Chinese Uber($UBER (-0,14 %)) rival DiDi Chuxing has announced steps to delist from the New York Stock Exchange. At the same time, it would seek a listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Beijing's cyberspace regulator ordered the deletion of DiDi's app from Chinese app stores just days after the listing in New York. The fact that many Chinese companies are raising money on the New York Stock Exchange is coming under increasing criticism from both the Chinese and the us side.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has commented on the potential of a digital dollar, but is hesitant to come to any conclusions at this stage of the process. Whether the Federal Reserve should create a digital version of the dollar would require consensus among Congress, the Fed and the White House. Yellen currently sees advantages as well as disadvantages to a digital dollar and says more research needs to be done before definitive answers can be found.
