I would like to know your opinion on this. I am a complete beginner here. I have been advised to invest in IShare emerging and dissolve this one. What is the difference between the two? How do you guys feel about amundi emerging? 😳

For comparisons of ETFs I can recommend the website justetf.com. At first glance I noticed that the ishares (IE00B4L5YC18) has a lower TER and replicates physically instead of synthetically.

@Dan_ilic97 Why did you choose this EM?

@FinancialKaiza In the end, I was told to start with 1-2 World ETFs and 1 Emerging to have a good basic structure. I saw the ishare everywhere, but I also saw that the savings plan didn't work, which is why I decided on the one from Amundi.

@Dan_ilic97 and the IShare also has no TER and that just seems to make more sense to me at the beginning

@Dan_ilic97 So you have to look for yourself which one suits you, for example I have the Vanguard products and find them better than the IShares ETF's. If you have a low savings rate, in my opinion one $A1JX52 is enough for my offspring, I have some EM included and I think it's a good 1ETF solution.

It's best to find out for yourself how you want to invest and where, pay attention to the costs and work out a strategy.

@FinancialKaiza Thanks for the tip, then I should have stuck with the one (Vanguard) I'll look into it again to see if I should keep the Almundi one permanently or start restructuring. For now I think I'll leave it until I have more funds to reallocate :)

@Dan_ilic97 Many only focus on the IShares for the purpose of popularity and marketing, but just read up a bit and you'll find the right one for you, otherwise there are still enough people here for tips, but do your thing and keep it simple.
