Milestone reached🫶 (roast me)

Hello everyone,

My portfolio, which reflects all, really ALL of my investments, has finally cracked the €30,000 mark.

As a 20-year-old trainee at a Volksbank, I think that's something to be relatively proud of.

There's already been a discussion on GetQuin: Yes, I collect Dom Pérignon champagne bottles. Can that be seen as an investment? I don't know. But they are collector's items that I was able to buy cheaply and 4 years later the price has risen somewhat. Well, it doesn't matter.

$MSTR (-0.99%) will be sold soon and everything will be shifted into the ETFs for the first time until I have dealt with it enough and what I invest the 8-10,000€ in.

I bought €4,800 in business assets out of boredom. Could the money have been better invested? Yes.

Well, it's already been canceled and will be paid out next year. Let's see what we do with it.

A €6,000 savings bond... I actually don't know what I was thinking. So please don't ask me. Just ignore it, please.

Building society savings: Will probably stay for now. I have very good conditions as an employee and I don't want to lose them.

Well, that should be it.

Come on, blame me for my bad decisions and for the fact that champagne is not an investment ist❤️🥰

Lg

Don

Love you all. Will have to post more regularly again or maybe not. Let's see gucken✌🏼

As a bank employee, you should be selling these products, not buying them yourself.

Huhu, is there an overview of what a bottle is worth? :)

@PiHu I would be interested too! Who knows what my Glenfarclas whisky bottles are worth now 😂😂
profile image
@PiHu just google it or look on eBay to see how much they sell for. I don't know if there really are websites for this. You can have a look and let us know if there is such a thing ;)

@BavarianLion Ask Pit Krause from the Walhalla of Whisky in Regensburg nicely, he will give you a competent answer in any case

@Dividendenopi Thanks for the tip!

@BavarianLion and if you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth a visit

@Dividendenopi I will do that! Regensburg isn't that far away from Munich 👍

@der_Don uff... Source = Google prices? Sounds to me like an investment where you have to spend 110% of your time on forums, similar to Lego's, antique etc.
How do you store the bottles?
profile image
@LarryLindt You're right. I store the bottles in a wine fridge at the perfect temperature

The paragraph in which you write about the bank products in your portfolio sounds like a $MCD employee who knows exactly what he is selling, but still eats it himself every day.

@SteelAnacott I was still a virgin at the time and had no idea about investing. Today I wouldn't do the same thing again. Everyone starts out and everyone makes mistakes. But at the end of the day, it depends on whether you learn from them or not.

Haha collecting champagne bottles at home as an apprentice. I think that's good, you're a doer, keep it up ;)

30k? wow

An enormous success at a young age. Hats off to you. And pat yourself on the back again 😄

@_EvD_ Thank you. Because I have no monthly expenses other than paying for the tank, which is about 150€, I can save a lot. My whole salary, about 1000€, is radically saved every month. I do a mini-job at a petrol station at the weekend to have some money to treat myself to things. That's why I have the opportunity to accumulate so much money in young years.

@der_Don In the end, like everywhere else, it's the balance that counts. You should and can always treat yourself to something in between, especially when you're still young. But the discipline and attitude are great 🙂

Drink the milestone bottles now 🥂🤭

@federalreserve ne I have decided to buy one when I have bought my first car which costs 50.00€+🥴
1
profile image
@der_Don Is that really necessary? Already a tidy sum 🫠
profile image
@federalreserve We'll see. Maybe I'll just lease one through the business of my Vaters🤷🏾‍♂️ and of course I meant €50,000+😂😂😂😂

Brother open the P2 instead of considering it an investment
