That was to be expected.
#scalable
Good evening!
Scalable now offers Lombard loans. I was thinking of taking out a loan for fun to try it out, since Scalable is my fun portfolio anyway.
Can anyone tell me whether such a loan has a negative influence on the Schufascore has?
Thank you very much ! :)
At #scalable it has recently become possible to take out a loan to buy securities. The own portfolio serves as collateral, including the obligation to make additional contributions if the own shares fall.
What could possibly go wrong? 😅
Well at least 2023 finally starts something positive. :)
The first purchases of individual stocks are now not so far back, but now I have at least a good feeling with my strategy. ;)
What happened?
Until now, my investments were mostly very erratic and until the end of 2021 only in ETFs. There were nine of them - I felt that the whole thing made a lot of sense.
Then it occurred to me to invest a little in stocks. Since I did not want to invest so much money at the beginning, I accidentally became aware of penny stocks. Evil trap - Canadian pennystocks. Everything sounded plausible and I felt good about it, but it was constantly going downhill.
The Gamechanger
Or you can call it the gamechanger, because that's how I became a father last year, and it was the end of fun dabbling in the stock market. I read up for a long time, found out that the 9 great ETFs can't really outperform the $VWRL can not really outperform and pennystocks are not my thing.
So I sold 8 of the 9 ETFs and most of the penny stocks - 2 are still left.
After some research and I have to say, even after getting to know getquin, my strategy stood after a few weeks. 2 ETFs are saved and individual stocks are bought little by little. The main focus is on the ETFs. Until the tax-free amount is reached, these are saved in a distributing manner. In addition, some run as a savings plan until the investment volume is closed. They are dividend stocks from all industries, so that the sense of achievement remains ;) With all companies I connect something or can go along with the philosophy.
The goal is to close a "small pension gap" from youth, even if the current job in public service is quite pleasant.

Hi folks!
A quick question for the #community,
I've been on the platform for quite a long time but was always just a silent listener.
As a student, I did not have the money for a long time to put aside something monthly for investments, but that has now changed recently.
Do you have any recommendations regarding brokers? I have the feeling that as a beginner there are only two relevant options: #scalable or #traderepublic
Do you have experience reports or do you know a better one?
