Ah okay does he work at Coke that he wants to change the formula or was it said that Coke agreed to change their formula in the usa, I'm confused.

You know that US Coke is a little different? Namely with high fructose corn syrup. That's even more harmful than sugar

Whether Coke wants that at all is another question.
Coca Cola Femsa $KOF earns quite well from exporting its Coke to the USA

@Dividenden_Monteur Well, does it make a difference? If it's not femsa, it's just the USA bottler making money from it. Cola is cola and you can't consume two at the same time. Or am I wrong. It's just that consumption shifts.

@topicswithhead the us bottlers earn their money either way.
But Coke Femsa has a huge business exporting sugar Coke to the USA.
In Tijuana alone there is a mega-plant with 15 bottling lines.

In the end, however, $KO makes the decision anyway, the bottlers have no say in the matter.
