Since transparency is a top priority for us and we don't want you to have to search through incomprehensible privacy policies to find out what really happens to your data, you can find the answers to your questions here.

First things first: We never have access to your login data at your depot bank.

To connect your account with getquin we work with the API service provider finAPI. API stands for Application Programming Interface and is a programming interface that allows us to transfer your data encrypted according to the need-to-know principle to financial service providers regulated by BaFin.  The finAPI has been used by numerous financial institutions for years and complies with the latest EU directive PSD2. This directive contains above all components that are intended to offer consumers, i.e. also our users, greater protection.

For maximum security, all data is stored encrypted on servers and data centers in Germany. Because your data is nobody's business - including ours.

So what data do we collect? And why?

Through IT systems, we record, for example, which Internet browser you use, or whether you use an iPhone or Android phone. However, we also do not know who you are, i.e. to which user the cell phone belongs, for example. For us, this information is important to make our app better and to detect errors faster. And sometimes these errors depend on which operating system you have or what kind of phone you use. Our goal is to provide you with a bug-free app and website.
