Is this the better choice?

I've been thinking for some time now about which drone manufacturer I want to buy in the long term.

After I $ALDR (+4,46 %) sold with a profit of around 30%, and $DRO (-1,53 %) is a bit too one-sided for me, $AVAV (+0,61 %) I can't afford😉, so I decided on an all-rounder and yesterday I added the first position from $ONDS (+3,43 %) into the portfolio yesterday.

@Multibagger If I have counted the waves correctly, a small ABC correction should have started now, which should go from 2.48$ - 2.03$ before continuing towards 6.74 - 8.65 in wave III. I am still watching for now but wish you good luck and thank you for the stock tip! :)

@Multibagger almost threatened with Nasdaq delisting last year - and an incredible run since then 🚀 The news flow is consistently positive in 2025. Some of my highlights were: Cooperation with Palantir, worldwide demo tour, first customer in Europe. On top of that, the IEEE 802.16t Direct Peer-to-Peer (DPP) protocol was selected by the Association of American Railroads as the new standard for next-gen HOT-EOT communication (a huge market if Ondas can tap into it). I am convinced that we will have a lot of fun with Ondas - Ondas is just getting started in the USA.

@L98 I have a similar view, especially now in September, when experience shows that the stock market tends to perform worse (September has been the weakest month on the stock market since 1928), I also expect another correction, which could also affect Ondas. I will therefore take some profits for the time being.

Was the decision to use ondas more spontaneous or based on a specific idea?

@TradingHase I've done a bit of research on all the ones I've listed. I chose $ONDS because they cover all areas in the drone sector and not just either attack, defense or civil. So it wasn't a numbers-based decision, but rather who has the most potential in the future and is still somewhat under the radar.

@Multibagger After looking at the figures, I was a little surprised that you were getting on board. The 2024 figures were anything but encouraging with only 7 million in sales and 38 million in losses... 🤔

@TradingHase Yes, but we and the stock markets trade the future. In a sector that has only really gained in importance in 2025, it makes little sense, in my opinion, to use 24 figures as a guide if you are interested in looking for companies with great potential. And I have used slightly more recent figures as a basis. In the second quarter alone, sales amounted to 6.5 million with a gross margin of 53%. A quadrupling to 25.5 million is planned for the year as a whole. The order backlog as at June 30 was over 28 million. Sales are expected to increase tenfold to $278 million by 2028. Of course, there are some companies in this sector that already have higher sales and are more profitable, but they are also valued much higher. And for me, $ONDS has the potential to become at least a tenbagger.
