If I take a rough look at the profits and losses, your "track record" is probably negative, isn't it?

So hopefully you're now keeping your hands off, wait, what does the basic information for securities say about "derivative financial instruments"?😅🤷🏼‍♂️

So of the top 15 trades, the balance would be just under €94 plus 😂 Of course I don't do that anymore, it's all been a while. I no longer sell shares and I no longer speculate on short-term gains 👍🏽

@Derspekulant1 Alternatively, you could invest a little more time in selecting the right derivatives and wait for the right opportunity. Losing trades are part of it. Everyone who trades a lot in derivatives has losses in the high double-digit range. Nevertheless, the overall balance can be very positive.

@Multibagger can be good, but these are definitely exceptions and not the rule. Statistically speaking, 80-90% of all traders lose money in the long term; it is not for nothing that platforms have to report this. And the remaining 10-20% are not the same, but vary from time to time.

@Derspekulant1 You have to distinguish between CFD trading, where you can lose many times your stake, and derivatives trading with OS, turbo, discounts, etc. If you lose 80-90% of your trades, you should definitely keep your hands off it. 😂
For me, the profit factor between derivatives and share portfolios is 6 in favor of derivatives. It may be that I'm an exception.
But if you feel better without, stick with it. Everyone as it suits their mentality and expectations.

@Multibagger I wasn't talking about derivatives, this has been statistically proven by numerous studies that have been going on for more than 10 years. Anyone who wants to tell me they've been doing this profitably for years and beating the market is lying to themselves. People who do this full-time every day usually don't even manage it. The figure is not made up out of thin air and cannot be refuted. That's why CFD platforms pay up to 500$ as a refferal, because they earn more in the long run with their non-profitable customers.

@Derspekulant1 We agree on that. I don't do CFD trading. But your e.g. Nvidia loss trade was not a CFD trade if I understand correctly

@Multibagger if I trade then only with
My own money and as I said I meant traders, with the 80-90% it doesn't matter whether it was derivatives or CFDs.
Here are the current loss ratios of the 5 largest CFD platforms worldwide, which they have to report themselves:

XTB - 75%
ActivTrades - 74%
CMC Markets - 73%
IG Markets - 75%
Plus500 - 78%

Among the top 10 investors by performance there is not a single one who trades or trades CFDs.
