JPMorgan CEO Dimon - Gold price at 10,000 dollars?!

CEO of $JPM (-0,12 %) Jamie Dimon has made a bullish statement on the gold price.


He would not be surprised if the price of gold were to explode and reach between 5,000 and 10,000 dollars in the near future.


More and more investors are adding gold to their portfolios. The question of weighting is often asked. How high should the weighting of gold in the portfolio be?


Experts recommend a position of 5-10% gold in the portfolio.

Currently still 0%. But I'm thinking about starting a savings plan now. However, gold has already risen extremely recently. I'm really undecided.

I got in today with a small base contribution and then now a savings plan. The small exposure is a little reassuring. To be honest, I can find no reason why gold should fall rather than rise over the next few years...

My target since 2018: USD 4500 2026/27. Projection target of the last major movements.
Looks like it will be reached much earlier. I may have to adjust the targets. 🤔

@Epi You have made a TOP prediction, respect! I suspect we will see USD 4500 this year. But of course it's child's play to predict the last few crumbs.
Certainly, if things continue like this, we'll be much higher again in 2026/27.

And if everyone is now expecting gold to reach $5000-10000, maybe it will stay at $4500 after all? 🤷

For the last 5 years I have about 25% gold and 25% silver rest 1etf and about 5-10% of the depot for possible zocks... Max 2% of the portfolio in one asset

@PIXELINVESTOR I can't name any ETFs.
My suggestion would be to only save in $EWG2. After a holding period of one year, tax-free.
