XRP/ ISO 20022

$XRP (+0,05 %) the cryptocurrency of the Ripple network, is often mentioned recently in connection with the introduction of ISO 20022. ISO 20022 is an international standard for financial messaging that aims to create a standardized language and structure for the exchange of payment information between banks and financial institutions.

Other cryptocurrencies that are also ISO 20022 compliant include $ADA (-1,06 %)
$HBAR (-5,53 %) ,$ALGO, (-3,92 %)
$QNT, (-1,76 %)
$IOTA, (-3,47 %)
$XDC (-3,37 %) Many of these coins are currently trading well below their historical highs. Whether they can reach their all-time highs again remains uncertain, but their compatibility with the new financial standard could give them a significant advantage in the coming year (2025). Of course, it must be said that XRP is the most "established" cryptocurrency of these.

On Thursday, the XRP token also saw a sharp rise in price after the New York Post reported that Donald Trump was open to including non-Bitcoin-based American cryptocurrencies such as XRP and Solana $SOL (-0,12 %) into a potential national cryptocurrency reserve.

The implementation deadline of ISO 20022 in November 2025 is mandatory for banks only.

I found this website interesting, but it is in English: https://www.iso20022.org/about-iso-20022

I look forward to your opinions/discussions.

My humble opinion:

The ISO story has been told for years.
Personally, I have huge doubts that banks will go out and buy the hodlers' bags empty just to use these tokens.
Not going to happen.
XRP is generated at the push of a button.

Same point for a so-called crypto reserve with XRP and SOL.
This crap is generated at the push of a button, just like our fiat money.

What is the point of a reserve with endlessly inflatable tokens?

I don't believe in it.

@Artiskon Most importantly, the XRP coin is not needed on RippleNet. Even if banks were to use the RippleNet at some point, they will most likely not carry out transactions with a coin where a single company owns over half of the supply and can therefore significantly influence the price.
The XRP people should ask themselves why Ripple launched a stablecoin😅
