1. Thyssen-Krupp invests in fintech Cap-on
The car body construction company of the Ruhr Group wants to offer its customers new financing options. To do so, it is relying on the development of the Abofabrik.
In the past two years, many companies in the manufacturing sector have experienced how quickly delivery problems can cause factories to stand still for weeks. The car body and plant manufacturer Thyssen-Krupp Automotive Body Solutions therefore wants to give its customers better access to usage-based financing models for new plants. To this end, the company is taking a minority stake in the fintech start-up Cap-on.
