Rebalancing at the end of the year

Good morning my dears,

Following the interest rate hike in Japan, I carried out a rebalancing this morning.

Over the last few days I have made a profit on $MTX (-0,51 %) MTU for the last few days. With MTU and in the sector I continue to see potential. However, since over the course of the year in the sector "aerospace sector" sector, I have decided to sell MTU.

In addition, my new company is also in the "Aerospace" sector sector.

Over the last few weeks, I have been asking myself which sectors will grow in 2026.

I see several sectors here, which is why, based on my research, I decided on a company that is directly represented in several growth sectors.

Here a big thank you goes to @EpsEra and @PikaPika0105 who supported me with their expertise during my research. And so in the end I decided to

$7012 (-1,52 %) Kawasaki into my portfolio.

You can find my analysis of Kawasaki under the link

In terms of the chart, the share is currently at the 200-day line, so I think this is a good time to buy.

What do you think of the rebalancing?

I also generally find $7012 more interesting than $MTX for a long-term investment

Nice stock, I'll keep an eye on it, country-specific good for my portfolio and the industrial sector is completely underrepresented in my portfolio. Thanks again for the introduction. If I don't put everything into @Epi 's wikifolio, then I can well imagine putting my first foot in at the end of the year

I agree. If there is perhaps one negative point, then it is the margins, but that also means there is still room for improvement and surprises. Kawasaki is also investing a lot in research and development at the moment.

And here you have a company in the field of robotics and hydrogen that is profitable.
In contrast to the pure hydrogen and robotics players.

Thank you for the presentation. Sounds interesting and my portfolio is quite empty in the industrial sector.
Where is the best place to buy Japanese shares? The spreads are sometimes really high (approx. 2%).

@IronEagle
I bought from DKB this morning. Everything went very well

@IronEagle The best time is first thing in the morning and in summer, when Japan is open for half an hour with us and the spreads are at their lowest

@Hotte1909 Thank you! But it will be a while before summertime :-)

@IronEagle That is the case. But in the morning, the spreads are still very low for Japanese equities

Thanks for the mention. The shift from MTU to Kawasaki is understandable and consistent for me. MTU is a strong company, but very focused on engines and therefore clearly cyclical. Kawasaki has a much broader base: industry, energy, defense, infrastructure and aerospace. This provides more stability and more options in the long term.

In my view, the entry point looks attractive. I wish you every success with it and will keep a close eye on developments. In Japan, I am currently invested in Toyota and Mitsui, which is already well diversified for me. Kawasaki is on my radar, but I tend to keep my portfolio leaner and focus more on my core.
