Allianz - a dividend pearl?

I took advantage of the dip this morning and bought my first Allianz shares. There have already been a few people who have also bought today and said that the prices are still too high. That may be true, but when do you know whether the price will fall further or not? But what I do know for this year is that a 5% dividend doesn't sound bad.

Don't be put off, you never know when the right time is. You're not doing anything wrong with Allianz, soon to be a nice dividend.

Don't be put off. How do you define too expensive here? YTD -9%, i.e. it has been significantly higher before. So there is room for improvement. Price targets and recommendations green. But even more important: your goals, strategy and guard rails. The role of the holding in YOUR portfolio and in the long term? Quality and value determined by Solvency II ratio, cash flows, underwriting, dividend, etc.

@Ichbinak63 Well, there are already areas that make a trend reversal more likely and also signaling price action and divergences, which can be timed relatively precisely with buy limits - but this is more about trading more volatile assets without dividends :)

@BeachPlease look at it this way: if you really want a share, then maybe it doesn't matter. But otherwise it's also nice for dividend stocks to be collected during a correction.

Based on the relationship between the two downward movements and the start of the trend in June 25, the correction would be plausible.
Insurance companies are simply ultra-stable. Anyone who thinks that a long is too early may want to evaluate with metrics from Tech.
Personally, I would have waited for a retest of €334, but I don't know the stock or the sector.
For the horde! 😅

Nobody buys at the lowest price and sells at the highest price. That would be a lucky coincidence, but not an investment that can be planned.
In 10 years' time, you will be the envy of many people because of this entry price level.
