Yesterday I wrote another company presentation / brief analysis.

Of course, it would also be nice to have a chart analysis.

Dear Tenbagger - here is my purely technical view of $TDY

Looking at the daily chart for the year 2025, you can see strong momentum on the upside. The price is running nicely at the upper edge of the deviation band2 of the VWAP - only Trump's interventions have kept the price from this path - see, for example, the time range from March to the recovery in July https://www.tradingview.com/x/jkEbvXuX/

In the close range in the 4h chart with a view to the short-term upward trend, it is difficult to say from my point of view whether this trend will continue at full throttle or whether the deviation band2 or the ATH will again represent too strong a resistance https://www.tradingview.com/x/kDsyXmOZ/

If you take the volume of this last rise into account, you can see that a large part of the market has positioned itself below the current range, i.e. apart from possible profit-taking, there should be no pressure, as the majority is well in profit and can or could let it run. The question is what effect the near ATH will have on current investors? https://www.tradingview.com/x/8E7bbSGj/

Conclusion: I can well imagine that the share price will continue in this upward channel, at least until the next earnings. But that's just a probability - perhaps many will part company next week near the all-time high?🤷‍♂️

I really like the multiples of the company and the sector.
A chart I attached to my post shows that the last earnings always beat estimates.
That's why my plan was to get in before earnings at the end of October.

@Tenbagger2024 Since the earnings are not due until the end of October, you can still observe over the next few days whether the current zone around the VWAP divergence and ATH proves to be strong resistance or is broken through sustainably.
In the last 4h chart you can already see at least the last 5 candles that are trending sideways, but that's still a bit too little to be able to estimate. Could just be a short breather 😅

Yes, thanks, good idea.
But I can see from the long-term chart that this is a long-term runner.
And in the long term an entry should not be a mistake.
If the price falls on earnings, I see it as a good opportunity to buy more.
