In the discussion about a further package of sanctions against Russia, the 27 EU countries are considering a ban on Russian aluminum imports. According to initial drafts, the lucrative imports could be banned in stages, according to diplomatic circles in Brussels.
Personally, I would welcome this as it could not only support or drive up the price of aluminum, but also lead to more revenue for profiteers such as $RIO (-0,51 %) to more income.
