UFP Industries invests 77 million dollars

$UFPI (-0,95 %) announces a $77 million investment in the construction of a new Deckorators facility on a 12-acre site in Lackawanna, New York. The project includes 22,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space and marks Deckorators' first manufacturing location in the Northeast. The new facility is part of a $250 million, five-year plan to expand Deckorators' product line. The site will create approximately 60 jobs, including production, logistics and administrative positions. Approval for tax incentives from the Erie County Industrial Development Association was granted in March 2025. Construction will begin in April.

Deckorators has expanded its retail presence to 1,500 locations nationwide. The company's Surestone technology uses a mineral-based composite material instead of traditional wood-plastic blends, offering greater durability and better heat resistance. The brand also expanded its market presence at the International Business Show and through a new partnership with the PGA TOUR.
