Conclusion

I took the profit with me.

The shares had just been lying around for almost two years and hadn't been saved anyway.

It was my first contact with investment vehicles apart from savings accounts :)

The money is invested differently via Scalable.

That's right. The TER alone is an outrage. Your profits feed the advisor(s), so to speak.

@ScorpionfromBW whereby the Uniglobal net has performed pretty much on a par with a World ETF in terms of fees since its launch. Helmuth Jonen (alias Waikiki) once wrote in an article that this was one of the best funds ever

@Finanzielle-Freiheit I don't dispute that either. It actually works as you say. However, if you have to deduct more than 1.5% a year as additional costs, that's pretty hefty.
