It's supposed to start producing lithium in Germany in 2028.

Should I buy it, or is it better to stay away?

I sold it about 6 years ago at the current price.
It was my first stock, my first trade, and I immediately made a 4x return.
I missed out on the 10x return that followed; now it’s back down to one euro.

I don’t see any potential there for the future.

I live in Landau, so I’m basically “on site,” and you can already see the progress.
Vulcan supplies heat to the local utility, ESW, via the geothermal power plant, and ESW then provides district heating to the city.
You can see construction sites all over town; the streets are being torn up and district heating pipes are being laid. Then the exhibition grounds here were sold to Vulcan, where a geothermal plant and a lithium extraction facility will also be built.
You can already see the various drilling sites at different locations throughout the region; for example, you drive past one of the drilling sites on the B9.
In addition, there will likely be more power plants in the surrounding area (Bad Dürkheim & Ludwigshafen).
So yes, a lot is happening, but it’s all still a work in progress, and right now the stock is still speculative.
