Meeting 🍊, Selenski. 🍊 "The USA has the best defense industry and supplies NATO"

Hello my dears,

there was no scandal in the meeting just now.

🍊 praised the superiority of the US defense industry, especially the Patriot system. It is an important air defense system and is used by various countries, including the Bundeswehr.

Dear ones, are you invested in US defense companies, or where do you see potential?

I myself am invested in $AVAV (+1,47 %) and $TDG (-0,23 %) invested.

I find the following interesting $LHX (-0,51 %)

The claim that the US has the best defense industry is widespread and is supported by various factors. The US is not only the largest arms exporter in the world, but also the largest arms manufacturer and buyer. The US defense industry is known for its technological superiority, large production capacity and global reach.

Size and scope:

The US has a huge and diversified defense industry with numerous large corporations producing both weapons, ammunition and complex weapons systems.

Technological superiority:

US companies are often leaders in the development and manufacture of advanced technologies for military applications, such as stealth technology, drones and cyber weapons.

High military spending:

The US's huge military spending allows for continuous research and development of new weapons systems and massive production of existing systems.

Global market leadership:

The US is the largest arms exporter in the world and supplies a large number of countries with its products.

Leading defense contractors:

US companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon are among the largest and most influential defense contractors in the world.

Europe is catching up and also has very good companies such as Rheinmetall, KMW, Leonardo, SAAB, Thyssen Krupp, Dassault, RR, Kongsberg, Diehl, Helsing, etc. I think in the long term we will have a strong defense sector and also expand it. The Europeans will also buy more often in Europe. The last few months have shown that the USA is not necessarily a reliable partner. I'm not invested in any defense companies, the stocks have all done too well for me.

Hello my dear,
In contrast to the European defense stocks, I still see potential in the US companies due to the valuations.

@Tenbagger2024 I feel the same way, US companies - especially $LMT - are currently in a very good buy zone! I'm invested myself, especially because of the Patriot missile system! The European defense companies have been running a bit too hot the last few months 😉

@BavarianLion
Absolutely, and it has just been emphasized once again that the USA delivers what the Europeans and NATO order. There is no way around the USA.

@Tenbagger2024 I've been thinking about buying into $RTX for a while, but the stock is a bit expensive at the moment, in my opinion! But I have a much too long watchlist anyway 😅

@BavarianLion
I think we will see another correction. Perhaps there will then be another buying opportunity.

@Tenbagger2024 My price alert for RTX is at 115€! But I'm currently on the verge of opening a position at $V, I find the price very interesting at the moment 🙂

You can't go wrong with Visa in the long term

@Tenbagger2024 I wasn't actually referring to the share prices of the companies, but to the statement that Europe will no longer be so dependent in the medium term and will therefore have to buy fewer weapons from the USA. That is not yet possible, but it will be soon. We are already building very good tanks, for example, and we are also doing well in drone development. We probably have major deficits in air defense, but capacities are also developing there. Iris T is a very good system, and we will certainly be able to produce a Patriot-like system in the next decade.

@Tenbagger2024 I think so too! I think there's still potential for the next 5-10 years... 📈

And the Israeli Elbit $ESLT also plays a certain role. Also in terms of defense systems

I've always asked myself these questions and couldn't make up my mind. That's why I'm currently saving in this ETF, which I think is doing well 😊 $ASWC

@SeidoPacero I am up 24% and think that the difficult political situation is stabilizing. Although that's not really good news apart from the money 😥
