Thanks—I was looking forward to seeing this list, since having kids will be on my radar in the next few years. It’s still relatively harmless. I’m looking forward to adding this small expense to my budget. Luckily, Friedrich is saving money here. It can’t be right that parents actually make a profit by propping up the pension system through a hobby. Maybe we should cut back on the support for parents a little bit. Otherwise, they’ll definitely have it too easy.
Don’t get me wrong—kids are a joy, and you should want them of your own accord, yada, yada, yada… I’m looking forward to it. I’m not looking forward to the financial losses, though 😂
One quick point that caught my eye: the cost of the station wagon isn’t limited to just the first three years. I’m assuming that the 30k figure is a bit of an exaggeration.
But it’s kind of ironic that you end up with lower pension benefits because you bring children into the world. Back in the day, people had kids to provide for their old age 😁
