A Small Bet on Megatrends

I'm going to use a small position (less than 2-3% of my portfolio) in this ETF $WMGT (+0,47 %)

It’s a speculative bet on a group of stocks that are uncorrelated with the MSCI ACWI.

Similar to a passive ETF strategy, it includes about 20 trending sectors and features high quarterly turnover.

Relatively low expense ratio (0.5%).

If it works out, I could increase my allocation to up to 5% of my portfolio, always in a controlled manner.

Did you check his new brother $TMGT ? I am doing the same bet with this one, it eleminates some of the sectors from the same index focusses more on growth. I am quite happy so far 🙂

@robinhold That was exactly my alternative. I held back from focusing on technology, since the rest of my portfolio is global (MSCI and emerging markets).
The original Megatrends fits better into my model today.
I haven't ruled out using it in the future.

For my case, I think I have the market already and was looking for a bit more upside :) Let's see how it will involve, already 2.5% of my portfolio and will be slowly 5% with future DCA investments :) I cut a bit from $XNAS and $XDEM to open this position so took from one bucket to another :)
