Is the ECB exerting pressure on the Czech National Bank?

Christine Lagarde, head of the ECB, has just emphasized in the context of the interest rate decision that she is confident that $BTC (+0 %) will not become part of the reserves of central banks in the eurozone.

She also said that she had spoken to the head of the Czech central bank about this😂

I've already commented elsewhere that Bitcoin just doesn't fit in if they want to launch their centralized, digital euro in 2028.

@Ash and it doesn't fit the narrative.
After all, Bitcoin has no intrinsic value and is on its way to irrelevance on the one hand, and on the other, everyone should be campaigning for a policy against Bitcoin because everyone is constantly getting poorer compared to Bitcoiners😆
It's a shame that Mr. Bindseil is leaving the ECB and the digital euro team - I was looking forward to the next article😂

@stefan_21 Yup, and it also fits into the picture again that she comes around the corner with this after Jerome Powell's pro-Bitcoin comment yesterday. You can't make this stuff up...

@Ash It also takes a lot to publicly admit that you were wrong in the past - as Larry Fink did, for example.
It would also have been too much to campaign against Bitcoin for years and then think it's a good thing if a country in Europe wanted to include Bitcoin in its reserves😅
This patronizing attitude of the EU and the ECB really gets on my nerves. They should please let the countries make their own decisions and not have a say and interfere everywhere🙄
But that's just European politics. Supposedly they are also working on a uniform European taxation for Bitcoin. I think we'll have a lot of fun with that in the coming years😅
