Access 3xGTAA

Yesterday I read through all the posts from @Epi on the subject yesterday and find the strategy very exciting and plausible. What's more, the track record to date is relatively impressive.

That's why I've now put my foot in the door.

I wish us continued success!

Welcome on board! 🫡
I hope you can cope with the high volatility and don't get shaken off so quickly when things get rougher.

@Epi A few questions: where to buy it? Is it possibile for non-German speakers?

@GiCi The certificate is traded on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange. If your broker offers the space, you can buy the certificate.

@Epi as far as I understand, the maximum drawdown should be even lower than with the typical B&H. I don't care what the price does in the short term, I intend to hold the certificate for several years if nothing fundamental changes. I also survived the April correction quite well, so I'm confident about that👌

@Dominvest in the hope that the good Epi will continue to do so for many years to come 🙏

@T-Dax I don't just want to secure my pension with this strategy. So I'll probably stick with it for a few more years.

I would also like to establish momentum investing in Germany as a veritable complement to B&H. 💪

@Dominvest Correct. Conceptually and in the backtest, the drawdown is lower than WeltETF B&H because the major bear markets are systematically avoided.
Most of the outperformance of GTAA models comes from riding the bull markets and avoiding the bear markets.
The drawdowns mostly come from the beginnings of bear markets, i.e. shortly before the signals turn to sell.

@Epi Are there any plans to trade the certificate via other exchanges in the future? I am very interested in it, but so far I only have the option via ING, which unfortunately does not offer a savings plan (and individual purchases are too expensive for me). Unfortunately, TR and .netZero don't offer it at all because of the exchange location

@Penguin_counting_coins I assume Wikifolio has a cooperation with Börse Stuttgart. That is not in my hands.
But a securities account with Smartbrokerplus can be opened in 10 minutes. 😁

@Epi However, SB+ incurs a fee of €4. This could be a problem for small sums and the certificate is also not eligible for a savings plan

@AxoWallStreet I had a total fee of 18€ with ING, but this corresponds to less than 1% of the volume and is therefore irrelevant, the certificate fluctuates 1-2% daily anyway. If you invest at least 400€ then you only have 1% fees at 4€. If the certificate then rises by 10%, you won't even notice that much.
