🔬 CapsoVision ($CV) – one of the most interesting stocks in my portfolio

Today I’d like to write about a stock that probably hasn’t even crossed many of your radars yet. Partly because the current situation is very interesting right now. 👀 $CV

CapsoVision develops capsule endoscopy systemsthat can be used to examine the gastrointestinal tract. What makes it special: The CapsoCam Plus features a 360° panoramic view, requires no external data recorder, and is connected to the cloud-based CapsoCloud platform.

And this is exactly where it gets exciting for me:

🤖 AI + MedTech + Capsule Endoscopy

CapsoVision is developing its own AI solutions designed to assist doctors in evaluating the captured images.

In August, AI Highlights was launched internationally, including in the EU. The software identifies suspicious, clinically relevant images during processing, thereby making the physician’s evaluation more efficient. However, FDA approval is still pending for the U.S.

  • And it is precisely this FDA approval that I am currently keeping a close eye on.

  • The company now expects FDA approval for AI Highlights by the end of Q3 2026 and plans to launch in the U.S. shortly thereafter.

This could be an important milestone for CapsoVision.

📊 There’s also progress on the operational front:

• Q2 2026 revenue: $3.6 million

• +10% compared to the previous year

• CapsoCam Plus already in use by over 176,000 patients used

• Increasing adoption among large hospital and GI networks

• AI Highlights already available internationally

• CapsoCam Colon as the next major product in the pipeline

• Additional research in the area of pancreatic cancer detection

And yet, the stock is currently far from its all-time high.

📉 Current price: ~$6.60

📈 52-week high: ~$15.37

To me, CapsoVision isn’t a classic “value stock.”

I see it more as a high-risk/high-reward medtech opportunity.

If CapsoVision manages to actually establish its technology as a platform for AI-powered capsule endoscopy, the company could be valued quite differently in a few years.

Are you already familiar with CapsoVision?

🔹 Are you invested?

🔹 What do you think of the AI story?

🔹 How do you assess the chances of FDA approval?

🔹 And most importantly: What would be a fair price for you if AI Highlights is approved in the U.S.?

Maybe someone here knows the company or the industry even better than I do. 👇

I look forward to your thoughts, especially the critical ones.

Of course I’m familiar with the stock, and of course, as a self-proclaimed high-risk investor, I’d already invested in it. I bought in at under 4 on September 25 and sold out again in October with a quick 15% gain. I was clearly too impatient back then; otherwise, I would have ridden the hype in November. In general, though, I still find the strategy interesting. Getting in early can be lucrative.

@Multibagger Yeah, getting in at under $4 and then selling at a 15% gain is, of course, disappointing in hindsight. But you can never know that in advance, of course. 😂 My patience definitely could have been rewarded a little more there. But that’s exactly what I find so exciting about CV: In my opinion, the story is far from over. I see the stock more as a long-term bet on medtech and AI, and not necessarily as a quick trade.
I’m curious to see if you’ll buy in again this time—and if so, at what price? 😄
