Someone has to explain that to me. The figures from $AMZN are excellent and the outlook also looks strong. But why is it falling?

Profit taking. This is not unusual after good figures. It doesn't have to be like this (see Microsoft), but it can be.

It's all just background noise, the share is good and will continue to go up in the future.

Compared to Microsoft's cloud growth (Azure) with 39.5%, AWS only had 17.5%. Almost everyone is now only looking at this because AWS accounts for the majority of Amazon's profits and growth. Microsoft and Google have set the bar very high when it comes to the cloud sector.

@Derspekulant1 I saw on QUALTRIM that Amazon's AWS is already worth over 100MRD. But as you say, Microsoft's cloud system is growing faster and more efficiently. They can get their existing customers to use the service easier than Amazon.

I have been with $AMZN for a number of years, but it always felt like it was going down after the last 5 quarterly figures. It doesn't matter in the long term because the overall trend is upwards - but it's still somehow striking
