Today after 11 months of investing and hard work i have cracked the 10.000€ mark, at just 18. Today I invested 1000€, the amount I invest monthly is around 900€ to 1100€ (depends if i have travel or others expenses). Now I am able to invest more as I have a better job, around 1200€ net for 30h a week as a cooker. Reached my anual objective in july, so i can end 2025 with around 16000 or 17000€ :). I don't know if i will be able to work 30h a week and study finance degree at the university at the same time.
About me:
Always been pasionated about money, an very disciplined since early age (thanks to the gym, started at 15yo), so at 16 I started trading (as a fast way to make money, but that is not how it works) so I keep trading, is my passion and in a few years my profession, right now i am a break even trader, i know it takes a lot of time i am only 2.5years in, so I work really hard, mainly getting data and making tiny adjustements in my model (that for know looks very promesing, Expected Value is very positive, sharp ratio is positive as well, and good winrate with good risk to reward). Thanks to trading I can apply my knowledge to investing and the overall market, so I discovered my other passion is investing.
About my investments:
I kinda follow a core-satelite strategy having $VWCE (-2,46 %) as core and a few high quality stocks as $ASML (-2,1 %) and $GOOG (-2,87 %) (compounding machines as described by my mentor Joseph Carlson) as satelites, they are companies with pricing power, large market share (monopolies), higher growth and better margins than most companies, organic growth, disciplined use of free cash flow (FCF) and they do buybacks and pay dividends (return money to investors). The idea is to buy these type of companies when the narrative is bearish so you have an assymetric bet (top companies for cheap prices with little downside compared to the upside). I know my portfolio is very concentrated but that is the point so it is more volitale, that is the way to outperform the market :), volatily is not bad, is just a tool.
