The "HYPE" share Novo Nordisk.

From the diary of a long-term investor.

Hated or loved: there's nothing in between here on getquin with regard to $NOVO B (-0,03 %) . Some wait for "bottoms", others see opportunities. Many listen to analysts, youtubers or other people with a lack of perspective on success and big opinions.

Very few have a long-term investment horizon and knowledge of Novo Nordisk's core business from their own professional perspective.

The question is: should someone who has been invested in Novo Nordisk since 1998 sell everything now because a total loss is imminent? Or should they simply sit out the current setback, as they have done for the last 30 years?

Questions, enquiries.........

Buy or sell everything because the "hype" is over: that is the question here.

I have just topped up again. It is an absolute heavyweight among European companies and can be had very cheaply. The main market is diabetics and I've said it before. As a diabetic, you don't just change your working insulin for nothing. That's why the tariffs will blow up in Trump's face. These are not cars. It's about the health of his population. He'll cave in because he has the short end of the stick and the USA needs the stuff 😅
That's why I'm staying optimistic and taking the low price with me. I now have over 120 shares

@Daniel1212 the tariffs on pharmaceuticals are 15% as soon as you are planning or already building factories in the USA. That applies to Novo. I also take a very positive view of the share for the future.
Novo is actually not a growth rocket and simply had a GLP1 hype, which has now been completely priced out. My position has an EK of 48 euros and for me is an absolute value play for the future with a nice dividend.

I am also well invested. My equity is roughly at the current level.

In my opinion, Novo is currently almost a value investment because the growth rates remain high and there is absolutely nothing to suggest that this will change in the future. The market is still huge and Novo has a superior product.

The share was certainly a hype stock when the price was over 100 euros and the newspapers were full of Ozempic in Hollywood. But at the current level, I think you can confidently buy it. I see a fair value of 70 - 80 euros here.

So, if you call Novo Nordisk a hype stock, then according to the chart you show in the post, the hype has been going on for quite a long time 😅
Is it a hype stock then? Or perhaps a rock-solid company after all 🧐

@TomTurboInvest rock solid. But there are a lot of people around here talking about a "hype share".
The chart speaks against it. No doubt about it.
