Quick question, how do you deal with this, for example, you have a company that you want to restructure but it is slightly in the red in my case $BNTX (+0,89 %) and $PYPL (-0,2 %) which are both about 5-15% in the red. Wait until they go up or sell now with a minus. I do believe that the two will recover the minus in an uncertain time, but do I want to wait?

In my opinion, it depends on how you see the companies themselves, now and in the future.

If you believe that the investment you want to switch into is performing better than the two, then of course switch immediately. If not, why switch?

Have a look at the links from the donkey @DonkeyInvestor, who has written a good report on this.

Sell immediately and reallocate
If the perspectives changed… you change. If f you believe that they will take long to recover and have better opportunities, you sell. If the fundamentals didn’t change and you don’t need the money… then it’s just market, relax and wait.
