The dividends received from Volkswagen and Mutares go directly into increasing Global Payments. I now hold 60 shares in the payment processor. I believe that the massive acquisitions will also deliver positive key figures in the coming years.

@Burner The acquisitions of Total Systems (USD 25 billion) and later EVO Payments (USD 4 billion) pushed up long-term liabilities, which were mainly financed with debt, to well over USD 10 billion.

This alone caused many investors to flee.
Global Payments is currently being covered by many analysts, which will have a reason.

After such acquisitions, the reported result usually falls significantly below the operating result or free cash flow (e.g. due to depreciation and amortization, etc.).
After some time, the key figures level out again as the special effects disappear.

As soon as the gap starts to close again, there will be a revaluation. This is why so many analysts observe.....
