Implenia AG was formed in 2006 from a merger between Batigroup from Basel and Zschokke Holding from Geneva. It has only had its new headquarters in Glattpark near Opfikon in Switzerland since September 2021.

Implenia Ltd's range of specialist construction services extends from planning and construction in prestressing and geotechnical engineering, construction logistics and timber construction to mechanical and electrical engineering.
