I used yesterday's fall in $IREN to add to the position I already have in shares. Would have been even cheaper, but that's ok too.

@Multibagger oh no, I'm not ready yet. I could seem to be using factor pigs instead of KO... (there you can see how great my ignorance still is.) Here's what I took with me:
I closed some trades too early with a profit and often had positions that were too small. Going short in a bull market entails higher risks. Never trade against the market or the index in which the share is included. Pay much more attention to the ask and bid prices or the spread. Put forward a similar thesis to a long-term investment and weigh up the decision carefully, but stick to it. So, there's still a lot for me to learn, hopefully it won't be as expensive as it has been so far

@Multibagger I've closed many of the good trades far too early in the past. Do you have a patent solution for me to find the exit? I'm currently 65% up with UG6L29. Maybe I could set a stop loss but where would be the appropriate point. What still passes for luck? And where does greed begin?

@value_seeker_ I have learned a lot with big gains and losses. To start with, I would first look at the individual derivative products. I have posted a short series here in the Best of section. You are welcome to take a look and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
And if you are starting out, invest small sums to get to know the functions and reactions.
In general, you need to be clear about the direction in which you think a share will develop over a certain period of time. Rise, fall or sideways? The choice of derivative depends on this.
