December Overview

Last month’s performance came in at +1.64%, which I am happy with given that the previous 2 months had negative returns.

Portfolio focus in December

Spent the month studying how to diversify and reduce concentration risk.

New buys and additions

Increased my positions in $CMCSA (+0,36 %) and $CVX (+0,35 %) .

Opened positions in $BMA (+0,89 %) and $SYM (-0,1 %) , two higher-risk bets where I expect a strong return potential in 2026.

P.S.:

My position in Unilever was force-sold in my broker app due to the split, and I used that event as a good point to step away. Tbh, the position had been in the red since I first invested and it annoyed me to see it negative every single month, and the sector does not really attract me.

What made you choose to invest in Symbotic?

@SquarePants I invested in Symbotic because it’s a leader in supply-chain automation, using advanced AI and robotics to support major retailers (like Walmart and Albertsons). The company has a very strong order backlog (around $22.4B when I looked up), which provides good revenue visibility for the coming years as more systems are deployed.

Symbotic continues to focus on innovation, including new high-efficiency warehouse structures, while deepening partnerships with key clients. Despite some short-term operational challenges, the long-term outlook remains very attractive given the growing demand for logistics automation and AI-driven solutions.
