A Boeing ($BA (-1,57 %)) 757from United Airlines ($UAL (-5,83 %)) during takeoff from Los Angeles International Airport a wheel. The flight UA1001 returned safely to LAX. United Airlines and the FAA are investigating the incident. This is the second wheel loss of a United aircraft in 2024following a similar incident in March with a Boeing 777.
