small well-dosed earnings trade on $SOFI (+1,71 %)

And this despite the fact that the acquisition of Kathi Holz $ARKF (-0,48 %) should actually be a contraindication (aka 🚩); in any case, figures will be published on 29.4.

Let's see what happens.

@BamBamInvest In any case, keep your fingers crossed for me

Fingers crossed, I'm thinking about adding to the position, but it's already big enough 😂. If the quarter is positive again, it will be a positive trade.

When SoFi bull market?

@Dirty30 That is difficult to answer, but certainly when Galileo and Technisys start to perform. Because then $SOFI would no longer just be seen as a fast-growing bank. In my view, that would be the biggest multiplier.

@BamBamInvest only 7th largest position for me, there is definitely still catch-up potential here :D

Can someone briefly explain to me what the difference is between the call@12USD SoFi and the real SoFi stock? I don't quite understand the calls. Otherwise a link where this is explained would be appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏼

@Enea91
Share: purchase at the actual price of the share; participation in dividends and price gains/losses at a ratio of 1:1

Warrants: many times more risky;

@CaYaRo and what is the exact situation with SoFi call @12$? You got in at 0.52€ and are you speculating that it will rise to 12$? For how long? So where do you see the duration?

Sorry for all the questions. Your link was helpful, but I'll try to understand by your example. Thanks a lot

Why an OS that is not in the money and with so little time to maturity?
If it goes down today, it won't make up its losses 😅

@Der_Dividenden_Monteur Alternatives?
but since this is really only intended as a short-term gamble, I think the remaining term until 10/2024 is ok

@CaYaRo OS do not work like KO bills, where the leverage rises when prices fall and you have a chance to get back to 0.
The leverage here always remains the same, and the OS loses value every day that it is not in the money.
You can therefore achieve the result better if you take an OS that is in the money, for example a call of USD 7.
With a $12 call, this only works with extreme volatility,
e.g. with a volatile share like Coinbase, this can work well, as the value can fluctuate by 20% in a week.

As a practical example, take a look at the call on Meta: DE000HS5RJ72

Meta fell sharply, as did the OS. Meta then rose again by 10% from the low, but this hardly affected the call as it is now too far from the target with only 2 months to run.

I hope you can understand what I mean 😅

Not off to a great start, currently -11.5% ... didn't earnings give any cause for joy?
