@SteelAnacott something that you can do with a clear conscience without thinking about it.
For example, buying Mcdonalds because fast food always works... :)

@Shareholder It's just a shame that McD's business model is largely based on real estate.
But that's exactly why I agree that it's almost a nobrainer

@Shareholder I know what a no-brainer is. I asked why it's a no-brainer.

I don't see that as an absolute given at $MCD. In terms of dividends: definitely yes. I also find the fact that $MCD is more or less a Reit due to the many properties it owns, as @lawinvest rightly says, interesting.
However, if you look at the share price over the last three years, $MCD is not a no-brainer for me and is one of the reasons why I am no longer invested.

@SteelAnacott $MCD for 3 years is already cheeky! It is a consumption value that must be viewed over +20 years.
