Buy more Novo Nordisk?

I am currently considering increasing my small $NOVO B (+6,8 %) position, as I still believe in the company despite the large drop in the share price (otherwise I would not have bought the shares).

My plan is to buy 5 more shares at a price of €35. I know that's not much, but I'm still 17 years old at the moment, so I can't just buy 100 shares. That would bring my average buy-in to €55, which I think is realistic in a year's time.

What do you think? Should I buy more sooner or later, or maybe not at all? Do you think Novo Nordisk is still on the decline or will the turnaround come soon?

Many thanks in advance!

Why novo?…
So much negativity about this stock.
Why would you risk it all?

You are so young, many people could only wish they started this earlie

buy a solid base in a good all world etf or dividend etf

Invest your money well

$FTWG & $TDIV

@fund_whisperer_1682 I do have 3 ETFs weighted so i can display the world in a way i want to with a monthly saving plan. Additionally I am invested in Novo and Nvidia. Novo specifically because I know from my granddad who has diabetes that its the best product he's has ever used in his life like he told me.

@stock_whiz_1610 take my advise, you are only young once.
Invest in a good all world ETF like you have.
Until you have a solid base, then you will be very thankfull within the next 5 years

This share has been my biggest mistake so far. I would advise against it

@juliana-investment You can always find someone who has had a bad experience with some share or other ... so it's better not to buy any shares ? 🤷🏻‍♂️

but with Novo I would be more cautious in retrospect

@juliana-investment I am currently gradually buying back the 50 shares that I sold at over €100. I currently have 275 shares in my portfolio. The hype is over but everything else is still intact ... That's my 50 cents on the subject.

This share is getting on my last nerve. But yes, I keep falling for them too🤣. And yes, after I've been excited about them for so long, they have to go up again at some point... at the latest when I throw them out again, they'll go up for you...

@value_crafter_1628 Haha, hopefully you also have something from possibly rising prices.

Use every spare euro to push the price down. Then be patient. The share will see better times again! No question about it!

You have to be patient with shares! Since you are already down almost 50%, it makes sense to buy more in order to push down the purchase price, especially if you are still fundamentally convinced of the company. I am, I think medium to long term and consider the company to be very solid. However, given the size of your portfolio, I would clearly advise you to invest your money in the MSCI World and build up a certain portfolio size here first. It may sound boring, but if you invest in individual shares, you should also diversify and not just bet on one horse, because contrary to all opinions, a single horse can always go astray. I don't think it makes sense to buy shares for less than 1,000 euros.
It's better to put everything into the "safer" ETF and use it to build up a base, and when it's big enough, you can always reallocate!

Wait with the purchase. Right up to the point when you DON'T believe in it anymore. Then you buy!

A 2% plus with an ETF size of 2,000 euros is more than a 10% plus with a share size of 400 euros. And the opportunity costs for individual shares are simply too high for such small amounts due to the higher risk.

I would avoid buying too small and prefer to invest in broad ETFs.

@Divident_e I don't think that's financially advisable. But to each his own. Thanks anyway.
