A U.S. Congressman, Kevin Hern, recently made stock purchases that are linked to the Middle East conflict .

This includes the purchase of shares in the defense contractor Raytheon ($RTX (-1,38 %) ) as well as shares in four energy companies (NextEra Energy ($NEE (+0,1 %) ), ExxonMobil ($XOM (+1,12 %) ), Pioneer Natural Resources ($PXD ) and Devon Energy ($DVN).
