Automatic drip

$EXSG (-0,25 %) Hello Community,

Yesterday the dividend was paid out. To my surprise, today the proceeds were automatically invested in new shares by order execution.

Is this normal for this share? Or is it due to my provider (ING)? At least I did not set this up knowingly.

Many thanks for your feedback in advance.

It was exactly the same with Consorsbank. I first had to inform them that I would like to have the dividends paid out.

Ing does this automatically if the distribution for ETFS is over €75. For shares even from 10€ dividend. Can be switched off. Point "Automatic reinvestment"
@marda304 Can this be set separately for each etf / share? And can you tell me where I can find this point? I have had well over 100 dividends paid out normally on other stocks and this is the first time this has happened.

@Nosferatu No. Can only be set "generally". So not for individual items.

In the app (Android), go to the securities account and then click on the cogwheel at the top. Then Manage securities account. There is the item "Automatic reinvestment" in third place. On the web, simply go to the securities account and click on "... More functions" and then "Automatic reinvestment".

Contact ING for everything else.

In the settings at ING there is a switch for reinvestment for ETF dividends from €75 net. You cannot change the amount, you can only select yes or no.
If you select yes, the purchase is always made on the next bank working day.
