ETF rebalancing

Hi folks,

I need your help.

I have an accumulating ACWI ETF from my early days in my portfolio. The value is currently at 21k€ and up 18%.

I changed my strategy some time ago and switched to a dividend growth strategy with the $FGEQ (-2,85 %) and $TDIV (-0,97 %) and 25 individual stocks.

I'm thinking of selling the ETF and shifting into some cheaply valued stocks from my portfolio and into the two main ETFs. Some stocks in my portfolio are heavily in the red. I would add to these.

Could this make sense in the current market situation? Or do you say "back and forth empties the pocket"?

Have a nice day everyone! ☀️☀️

If I were you, I would first think about a strategy, what you want to add to and at what price. If you are of the opinion that your selected stocks should perform better in the near future, then I would prefer a partial sale rather than a complete sale. ACWI as a basis is never verkehrt✌️

an ACWI as a basis is never wrong, but if you are more convinced of your stocks, then reallocate ;)

I don't see your current problem as trading and therefore under the category "back and forth empties your pocket". If that's your direction, then go for it.

And whether you do it later or now should also be irrelevant, because...
you sell and buy cheaper now,
later you sell and buy more expensive.
The only ones who win more later is the tax office 😂
