I've just been doing a bit of "cosmetic adjustments" to the volume figures again. Regardless of that, though, Veolia is currently trading at a nice price if you're looking to buy in.
I find the company and the sectors of water supply and wastewater treatment, water purification, desalination, waste disposal/recycling, and infrastructure networks truly exciting and a real growth area for the future. If the stock markets do experience some turbulence, this is a steadily growing, non-cyclical business that performs well even during a recession or a poor economic climate.
In my portfolio, Veolia is $VIE (+1,31 %) as a long-term investment. I might even increase my weighting in this position a bit more when the opportunity arises.
