- Does your depot, influence your everyday purchases? -

Example: You hold Varta ($VAR1 (+0,27 %)).🔋

The batteries, for the new light chain, from Varta cost 8,99€.

The batteries from the competition ($6752 (-0,25 %)) cost only half, namely 4,49€.

👉🏼Für which pack do you decide?

Example 2: You hold METRO ($B4B (-1,77 %))

November is coming to an end, the 1st Advent is coming and December is in sight.

Time for Christmas shopping. - Do you go to METRO or do you go to EDEKA C&C wholesale?

👉🏼Für which store do you choose?

You can continue the examples of course, - whether it should be the Billigfußel, or nevertheless the Hennessy if one $MC (+1,28 %) hold?

How do you decide in everyday life, if you have the choice between cheap and expensive, but hold the shares of the more expensive item?

Absolutely not.. Consumption and investment are two different things

@GoDividend I agree👍

@GoDividend That's why I also think this advice "invest in things you use yourself" is garbage. You shouldn't do that. Because your personal consumption is no guarantee that the share will perform! Unfortunately, beginners are always advised to do this.

@kaihauenstein so packet soup a few cents OK I might still be happy with but air fares and refueling or similar no.. If you can do that with the price differences then congratulations. Comfortable starting situation

We do it like this, my wife knocks out the cash and I earn on the shares. 🥲🥲

@Pat83 A circuit fits like this after all. 😎
It depends... I have Shell shares, for example, but I don't fill up there.
But I have Xiaomi shares because I use a lot of products.
I also buy PayPal shares, for example, because I use it more often than my Visa card.
It always depends on the individual and the industry.

Another example: buying a cheap Android smartphone and investing the difference to the iPhone in Apple shares 😁

I always fill up at Shell and Aral, drink Coca-Cola, only buy shoes from Nikes, only eat Pringles potato chips and of course I always opt for an Apple product 😁👍

@Simpson Aral pumps pump faster than the ones at the cheap gas station👍

For example, I'm invested in Pepsi, but I don't like Pepsi, I now like Coca Cola. However, I like Pepsi better as an investment. but that's not why I drink and buy it!

As a matter of principle, I do not use any products from companies in which I hold shares

Buy the cheap batteries and invest the difference in Varta.

Not for that reason, but because I want to see what the product is like. I tried Hellofresh, for example.

@MiIliardenmehling Very cool, I'm secretly all about HelloFresh-Lover❤️

@MiIliardenmehling then hopefully also a recycling company for the waste that accumulates there and Deutsche Post in the depot as the sender. Then you have the whole chain together

@GoDividend I've only tested it once and that was enough for me. Can't understand why it's booming.

Have Apple, but am an Android fanboy!

With Nvidia, it's even the other way around, as I'd rather buy shares than the overpriced graphics cards on the market 🙃

Yes, my wife only has LV handbags, my son drives a Tesla and I drive a Daimler. Our private plane is from Airbus and our Leopard is from Rheinmetall. 😉 We are all vaccinated with BioNTECH or Moderna. Of course.... and almes from Apple and Microsoft.

Doesn't affect my purchases at all. I never go for the more expensive one, it always depends on what you need it for. Even if I had millions in my bank account, I wouldn't do that.

I keep Daimler, so I also drive one of their cars 😂

Of course this has an impact on everyday life. So I like to shower with Dove shampoo and brush my teeth with Signal when I have Unilever shares.

Yes, I go to McD every day, I have it in my depot. I also use Regaine for men who lose hair every day -> J&J

In a way, yes. However, if there are better/cheaper alternatives, I would always opt for them.

I am rather happy when other people buy products from my companies...
