First purchase

It's been on my watchlist for a while now and I think it's a very stable stock that will continue to offer growth in the coming years.

In addition to my ETF Core and my crypto investment, I am always on the lookout for suitable individual stocks to complement them.

My preference here is for shares with a moat, dividend stocks and diversification in terms of geography and sector.

No positive share price performance for ten years, what are you betting on with the company? What makes it interesting for you?
At first glance, but I haven't looked into the company, I would keep my hands off it

@GHF How do you come to this view?
Between 2020 and 2022, for example, the share price has gained over 120% and the price itself is currently moving back into what I consider to be an interesting technical zone in the same areas as in March 2020.

So the share is interesting from a technical point of view.

In addition, as a chemical company, it is one of the top 5 in the world and therefore operates in a strong business segment.
I think that in the next few years there could be some changes in the drive sector, packaging sector but also in the laboratory technology sector, from which stocks like this could benefit.

Mh, the 120% increase in the share price is of course followed by a corresponding fall in the share price. Since 2014, the share price has fluctuated between €50 and €90, so if you believe in that or are betting on a turnaround, then everything is fine.
But for me, such shares are just nothing.

I have been invested in $LYB for 3 years. I am an income-oriented investor - and the share with a current dividend yield of 7.14% plus 5% dividend increase per year is suitable for this. I also topped up a few weeks ago. What kind of investment strategy are you pursuing? Probably not suitable for growth. For dividend investors definitely ...
