Hype

What do $HIMS (-7,12 %)
$4X0 (-5,79 %)
$DEZ (-4,53 %)
$DRO (-1,24 %) have in common? Right, hype stocks that rise abnormally and then plummet. It's fascinating how many people fall into FOMO and hope to make a quick buck when they know they're too late. Of course, there are always shareholders who win and they are more than welcome to do so, but 99% of people lose money. It's hard to imagine them putting their money into an ETF every time instead of trying to ride the hype. Why is the greed so great in many people 🤔

@Memo0606 For me, Hims&Hers is hype, just like every stock is worth buying for you 😕

@Memo0606 Of course telemedicine, telehealth is a hype! Would you trust your health to a chatbot from India or a real doctor? I don't think the Indian chatbot 😊

And what do such posts always have in common? They don't begrudge the people who are successful - they spread envy.

And where do you get the 99% as an assumption? 😏

Everyone can invest where they like. Some win, some lose. 👍

P.S: I'm not invested and wasn't. I don't begrudge anyone who has seen the potential and can enjoy a great performance as a result.

@MoneyISnotREAL If you could read, you would have recognized in my post that I don't begrudge any shareholder the profits. I just find it fascinating how many people always fall into FOMO 😕

@equity_expert_1695 Psychology 😅 Social media, online platforms and media promote the whole thing.

It's like a snowball rolling down a slope. Small at the top, big at the bottom. 📈

The whole stock market is just hype, the people with knowledge and money make more money and control the market, the people who are trying to make it either succeed in doing so or just give up

Add $TSLA and $PLTR since both dropped more than 40%

The stock market does not lose money. It is then only with someone else 😉

I'll add to your list:
$ETL
$ALDR

$DEZ Deutz has also shot up ("hype") but I wouldn't want to put it in the same league as the others. Deutz has over 5,000 employees, so it's definitely not a "small company".

You're a rascal. I wanted to draw attention to something similar yesterday and got a lot of hate. Watch out, they don't like that here. I don't understand why. We just want to open his eyes.

I'm still up a good 350% with Hims. You just have to have been in at the right time.
And at the current valuation, it is far from a "hype" share.

Stick with your ETF.

Serious question about the posts and comments
that you write: Is everything okay with you or are you struggling with
psychological problems?
@Seebi You must have blocked me like in kindergarten 😕 I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery 💪🏼

@ChillmaldeineNuggets you have lost over 50% in value within a very short time, healthy is something else 😕
@equity_expert_1695 but that looks quite different again when you consider that it had previously risen by 200% in a very short time, with the crash the share is "healthier" than before

@equity_expert_1695 any stock can correct over 50%... or was something like Netflix or Alphabet just hype when they corrected in 2022?
@Bubu_98 keep on talking yourselves into it 😕
